The recent stretch of winter weather has kept Woodhouse Restorations busy, as crews respond to an unexpected surge in residential water-damage calls caused by ice damming across Waterloo Region.

Following a fire in a neighbouring unit that caused extensive smoke damage to Old Goat Books, Woodhouse Restorations has been working to help the long-standing Uptown Waterloo bookstore recover and reopen.

On Sunday, Woodhouse Restorations responded to a significant fire at a residential complex near Fairview Road in Kitchener, mobilizing its large loss team to assist with emergency response and stabilization efforts.

Woodhouse Restorations’ emergency response teams have been on the ground in Ayr following the tornado that struck the community on August 17, providing critical recovery and cleanup services in the aftermath of the storm. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
