MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs (company website, email, social media, digital campaigns, etc.)

  • Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives 

  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify marketing opportunities 

  • Develop and create marketing materials to ensure brand consistency 

  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across various mediums

  • Support and work with Business Development Manager, Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants

  • Capture photos of our primary projects/job sites, company events, etc. 

  • Maintain and oversee profitable relationships with key customers/clients

  • Communicate effectively with clients when required and assist with customer reviews

  • Update customers on new services to increase sales 

  • Expand the customer base by marketing Woodhouse Group’s full-service offerings

  • Conduct and manage business reviews using CRM programs 

  • Represent our brand with professionalism that our customers expect and deserve

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, graphic design or equivalent 

  • 2-5 years of proven experience in marketing and sales, or equivalent 

  • High level computer skills, including MS office, graphic design software and CRM systems

  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods

  • Superior analytical skills and data analysis interpretation

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Business awareness partnered with a creative mindset

  • Must be adaptable and able to continue developing our brand

  • A team player with notable leadership skills 

  • Valid “G” class driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

EMERGENCY MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

*Please note that this position is required to work in the field/on job sites.

 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Responsibilities: 

  • Respond quickly to water and fire damage emergencies

  • Lead remediation and water extraction

  • Help with demolition when required (“tear-out”)

  • Equipment setup, monitoring and removal

  • Cleaning structures and contents to remove soot, water, mold, and other damage

  • Help with packing, moving, and storing contents in preparation for repair/rebuild

  • Administration of production systems and supporting documentation as required

  • Update production team and Project Coordinator/Manager of changes within a job

  • Communicate effectively with clients when required

  • Ability to lead a crew while ensuring safety and efficiency within the team

  • Must be able to adapt to a variety of residential and commercial environments

  • Represent our brand with professionalism that our customers expect and deserve

  • Prepared to work scheduled after hours shifts to meet customers’ needs

  • Available to respond to urgent needs after hours (“on-call”)

 

Requirements: 

  • General Safety Training (first aid, CPR, confined space, fall arrest, etc.)

  • Valid “G” class driver’s license

  • Acceptable driving record

  • Clean criminal record

COMMERCIAL SITE SUPERVISOR - GENERAL CARPENTER

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in conjunction with Project Coordinator

  • Ability to complete various construction tasks- basic carpentry, drywall, demolition, etc.

  • Supervise, schedule and manage subcontractors and production staff as required

  • Consult blueprints, designs and client instructions for project plans

  • Ensure all elements of Health & Safety are implemented to maintain compliance

  • Complete required administrative functions essential to the project(s)

  • Ability to lead project and ensure efficiency within project team

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of commercial, institutional and multi-residential environments

  • Uphold and promote Woodhouse Group internal policies and procedures

  • Represent our brand with the professionalism that our clients expect and deserve

  • Available to work scheduled after hours shifts in order to meet the needs of our clients

  • Mobilize and support our after-hours response team, including availability as required during times of high volume / catastrophe situations

CARPENTER

  • Ability to lead a crew and ensure efficiency within the team

  • Complete required paperwork related to the job function

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of residential and commercial environments

  • Represent our brand with professionalism that our customers expect and deserve

  • Prepared to work scheduled after hours shifts in order to meet customers’ needs

  • Available to respond to urgent needs after hours

  • Valid "G" class driver's license
