PROJECT COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

Schedule, organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Order materials in a cost effective and timely manner

Acquire, and maintain sub-contractors as needed
-
Ensure sub-contractor and supplier pricing is competitive while maintaining high quality standards

Lead & develop, a carpentry team
-
Assist with procurement/approvals for permits and other government regulations
-
Ability to show respect and professionalism in all situations

Ability to work independently
-
Assist with meeting project budgets on a consistent basis

Maintain client files
-
Support senior team, staff, and clients
-
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Construction projects, as well as company and project policies/procedures
Skills & Qualifications:

2 years experience in same or similar role
-
Construction and/or carpentry experience
-
Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
-
Time management, critical thinking, and oral/written communication skills
-
Ability to foster teamwork working efficiently with others to set goals, problem solving, and make decisions in the interest of organizational effectiveness

Working knowledge for Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, the internet and smartphone applications
-
Must have a valid class G licence
-
Must pass police background check

SITE SUPERVISOR

Supervise, schedule and manage subcontractors and production staff as required

MITIGATION TECHNICIAN
