Woodhouse Contracting served as prime contractor for the transformation of the former Subscribers’ Lounge at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium (The Aud) into Club 51 Sports Bar. Completed for the City of Kitchener and the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club, the project converted the existing space into a fully equipped, 2,300-square-foot restaurant and bar.

The interior renovation and fit-out included demolition and construction of new dining and semi-private seating areas, bar service areas, a commercial kitchen, accessible washrooms, and storage and support spaces. Custom millwork, booth seating, feature ceilings, and specialty finishes were complemented by new flooring, lighting, and wall treatments.

The scope also included kitchen ventilation, plumbing and HVAC upgrades, electrical improvements, audiovisual infrastructure, and life-safety modifications. Woodhouse coordinated these building systems with the installation of commercial kitchen equipment, coolers, freezers, and bar equipment.
