Woodhouse Group led the construction management for this remarkable mixed-use conversion and restoration project in collaboration with Boardwalk Tower Inc. Located in the heritage-rich Galt core, this ambitious project aimed to revitalize a late 1800s/early 1900s building that has been central to the downtown streetscape for decades. The project scope encompassed a complete structural restoration with a granite retail space on the main floor.

The project also saw comprehensive coordination of Woodhouse Group’s construction management expertise as every system was carefully refreshed, including new electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC upgrades, and accessibility improvements. Heritage elements such as timber beams, masonry walls, and large windows were skillfully integrated with a new roof, windows, and a range of distinctive finishes. This masterfully managed project not only rejuvenated an iconic edifice but also set a new standard for blending historic charm with modern luxury in downtown Cambridge.
