Woodhouse Contracting Completes New Poppy’s Bagel & Bakery Location at Conestoga Mall

Waterloo, ON —Woodhouse Contracting is proud to celebrate the opening of Poppy’s Bagel & Bakery at Conestoga Mall, the second location for the local shop known for its hand-rolled Montreal-style bagels.

As the general contractor, Woodhouse Contracting transformed the former Cultures space in the food court into a bright, functional bakery counter ready to welcome bagel lovers from across Waterloo Region. The renovation involved a complete overhaul of the existing space, including new underground plumbing for a revised layout, updated lighting and electrical systems, fresh wall tile, custom millwork, and new signage to reflect the Poppy’s brand.

Poppy’s has become a popular name in Kitchener-Waterloo, known for its commitment to fresh ingredients, locally sourced products, and authentic bagel-making techniques. The new Conestoga Mall location continues that commitment in one of the region’s busiest retail destinations.
