February 6, 2023 ​ Woodhouse Group is proud to share that six buildings in our commercial portfolio have earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). ​ The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an internationally recognized, third-party verified certification for measuring, implementing, and monitoring building features that prioritize human health, well-being, and performance. The designation is informed by the WELL Building Standard and combines best practices in design, technology, and operations with evidence-based scientific research – harnessing buildings as vehicles to support health and wellness. ​ “We’re thrilled that the IWBI has endorsed our efforts to achieve the highest health and safety standards for these properties,” said Sebastian Skuza , Real Estate Manager, Woodhouse Group. “Engaging with WELL has been a huge step for Woodhouse Group in understanding the impact our buildings have on individual health, social interaction, and well-being. To earn this certification, the Woodhouse Group team adopted positive, health-focused changes at each site including installing the latest air and water quality management systems, implementing enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures, developing emergency preparedness initiatives, and increasing stakeholder engagement.
